Hi,
With e-on at the moment and due to possibly switch before my fixed tariff is up next month.
I gave e-on a reading to get an up to date annual usage from them based on my reading, but they have said that until the yearly time comes up which is after my cut of switch date then they cant give me it.
I have had one from my last bill before Christmas, but not the cold weather had kicked in,then i would rater an update one now so i can compare. Anyone got any suggestions on this please?
Thanks

If you have a previous bill then you have the information to work out what your annual usage is.
Unit cost by the number of units used.
Standing order charge per day by number of days.3.795 kWp Solar PV System. Capital of the Wolds0 -
Good morning valleyboy22,
I'm sorry that we didn't really help you when you rang us.
If you log in to your online account and then click on the 'MiData' tab. You'll be able to see the information that you ned.
It'll show what you used last year in kWh and £spend and what we think you'll use for the coming 12 months.
There's also lot's more information on there and the online account, that's really helpful.
Thank you

Two things are needed to do a comparison:
1. Postcode
2. Annual projection consumption in kWhs/year
Ask E.oN for the Annual Quantity for gas and Estimated Annual Consumption for electricity for your property. This is historical data held on file for your property based on annual consumption adjusted for seasonal variations. That said, as suggested above, a better way to calculate annual consumption is just to use ACTUAL meter readings on two statements about a year apart.0 -
I have found that supplier estimates can be wrong. One worked value on 15 months. I use my own formula.
Q1. kilowatts/days covered in bill x 365=
Q2.3.4 same
Then add results of all calculations and divide by 4.
It works well for me.0 -
Thanks for the replies. E-on i see when i logged in require my meter readings which i will do later. Now should i get an annual usage from this so can look on a comparison site?0

Morning valleyboy22,
Yes that's great pop your reads on, once you can view the paper bill have a look under the section 'about your tariff' this should give details about the tariff that you're currently on and give you usage for the last 12 months.
Any probs, let me know
