I owe Npower over £5000
Over the space of 5 years I have accumulated a debt of just over £5000 with Npower. In the early stages I received letters and phone calls about the debt on my account (when it was around £1000-2000). After setting up a payment plan and switching to paperless billings Npower stopped pursing me for my debt. This was about 3…

Can anyone advise which are the best? Pros and cons of each etc. We have 3 young children and therefore am swayed towards the glass fronted HE units? We…

Hi, I'm new to this so sorry if anyone has already answered a question similar to this but I am really quite worried about this. It seems like another company called everlasting boilers?

Hi After years of living abroad we have returned to the UK, bought a house and I am now trying to circumnavigate the utility 'maze'. The house we bought had oil heating but we have had it changed to mains gas. I chose to go with e.on as they were the only utility company who could fit a meter in time for us to move in. The…

Faulty digital electricity meter?
Hi Went to take a meter reading this morning and found that all the digits are flashing 88888 etc. The meter is an Ampy 5193A model. The red LED is flashing away which I'm led to believe indicates power is being used and our supply is fine. Any idea why I can't read the meter? Thanks in advance Steve

EDF Blue and Price Promise April 2014
I am on the above scheme and I've been informed by DD is going up. When I queried why, as I thought the price was fixed until April 2014. I was told only the unit rate is fixed and not the DD. This wasn't made aware to me at the time of signing up over a year ago. Is there anything I can do.

Npower: stealth reduction in annual discount?
Npower have changed its electricity standard tariff without informing its customers. They have decided to remove the daily standing charge and instead reduce the annual discount. Scottish Power unfairly charged me early termination fee.
My dual fuel deal with Scottish Power ended on 30.06.13, so I initiated a switch to a cheaper supplier during June (via the cheap energy club), asking the new supplier not to switch me until after the above date. My supply of elec was transferred on July 10th, and gas transferred on July 24th. I was therefore shocked to…
