Faulty digital electricity meter?
Hi
Went to take a meter reading this morning and found that all the digits are flashing 88888 etc.
The meter is an Ampy 5193A model.
The red LED is flashing away which I'm led to believe indicates power is being used and our supply is fine.
Any idea why I can't read the meter?
Thanks in advance
Steve

I think that meter displays the 8 s as a check that all digits are in order, has it got a button to press to scroll through the reads? Yes red light flashing just indicates you are consuming. faster the flash, more electric being used0
