Npower's Go Fix 8 tariff - £100 voucher - Existing customer
Hi all I am slightly confused. The latest round of Martin's email says that if you go switch to Npower's Go Fix 8 tariff via one of the comparison sites you'd get £100 voucher. Apparently this also applies to existing Npower customers. I am an existing Npower customer (on a different tariff) so I would supposedly qualify.…

I know all electricity providers are increasing prices and accept this, the problem I have is the maths. My letter informed me prices were increasing 18.6% My…

Elec Meter readings massively higher than energy monitor readings
Hello, I'm a first time poster, so please bear with me as I find my feet! We have been in our home for 3 years, and our electricity consumption seemed excessively high, in fact we began to doubt the meter accuracy. We received an energy monitor from British Gas, and it tells us we are averaging 12- 14 kWh a day. The actual…

E-on get a thumbs down from me.
Hello all, We inherited 2 Prepayment meters in 2008, when moving into an inherited property. E-on were the suppliers for previous occupants so we continued with them. We have recently decided that we would like the Meters removed and to change to paying energy bills by Direct Debit. So, today, I have rang E-on and have…

Atlantic bonus payments
I currently have my gas and electricity from Atlantic, the tariff i'm on gives me a refund annually of one months average payment for both as a sort of bonus so effectively I get 13 months for the price of 12. Doing a price comparison suggests I could be just over £100 better off by switching to another provider but does…

Should I fix and take a loss just now of £130?
Done a few comparisons. I'm on NPower duel fuel SOL 22. My cheapest comparison still says I'll be minus -£50, however we know prices are going to keep rising. Do you think I should fix with Npower til 2013 on their Go Fix 8 and take a current loss of -£130? Then sit tight and watch prices rise? Advice appreciated.

Urgent question: last cooling off period day
If anyone could clear this up for me, I'd be very grateful. I've just initiated a switch to the EDF Fix for 2012 via moneysupermarket (hopefully meaning £30 cashback ). But I've now seen Martin's email about the NPower GoFix8 and am wondering whether to switch to this - I think I'm in the final day of my cooling off…

Mis-sold boiler cover
For the past 2 years we have had our boiler under service contract. First by British Gas and now by EON. We had our first EON annual service visit yesterday and the engineer told us he could not service the boiler. We are in a 2nd (of 3) floor flat and the engineer told us that because he could not inspect the flue (which…
