The cash would really come in handy as I have just started a new job. Or would the money be better left on the account? Many…

British Gas Homecare 200
We took this service contract out in May of this year. We opted for this level, which I believe is pretty comprehensive because we wanted the best cover we could get. This morning we have no hot water due to a boiler fault. Their welcoming letter states that in 8 out of 10 cases same day call outs are guaranteed if you…

Gas Meter
Is it true that when you're with any gas supplier apart from British Gas, you pay a hidden rental fee for that companys use of the meter (which belongs to British Gas) How does this weigh up and compare on prices. regards Scorpion999

When can we expect to hear from either simplyswitch or EDF?
Switched online last week but haven't heard from either Simplyswitch or EDF. We've not switched via a comparison site before so not to sure what to expect, but thought we might have heard from either one by now. What has been others' experience of the process?

People should not fix energy prices, the will drop in 2009
As G&E follows the prices of oil, and oil has droped over 50% in price over the last few months, then the utility prices will follow. As Gas is bought in advance we will not see this for now, but we sure will in 2009. I don't think it was a good idea to fix your energy price.. Often people were charged for this per month…
