Switching from npower - in credit
Hi, I wondered if anyone can advise me if they have had any problems switching from npower? I'm thinking of switching this weekend (in line with Martin's advice), but I'm actually about £130 in credit with them. I'm worried they won't pay up the extra, or at least not without a fight, as their terms and conditions seem to…

Hi, Wonder if anyone else has had this sort of experience. I'm on a pre-payment meter. Scottish Power wanted to come and replace it, so I said I would like to go over to a normal credit type meter. They said I could only do this if the large balance on my account was cleared (£800) - WHAT BALANCE??? I replied (as the whole…

Confusion on Gas/elec Annual Discounts
Hi all, Apologies for what I'm sure most will see as a really silly question; When comparing gas/elec tariffs I understand a lot of providers offer discounts for both going dual fuel, and paying by DD. There's also mention of these being yearly discounts, savings per year, and discounts recieved annually. My situation is…

It said on Quidco that they would pay on single fuel £40 and duel fuel £60. I change Electric company to them and I also changed tariff with mygas as I am with them for my Gas anyway. Electric savings seem a bit much.
I am in the middle of changing energy suppliers. I used to pay £48 a month with southern electric. I joined British gas dual fuel click 5 tariff and today they rang me to say my electric would be £24.50 a month. Thats £282 over the year without the gas savings. On uswitch etc they estimated £150 for both. I don't know…

It was an estimated bill dating from the 1st of April (half a month before I moved in) til the 19th of May (hello, slow Royal Mail). Anyway. the estimated…
