Hi folks

I'm with Npower and have all electric, they have a deal on offer: fixed until 2011, with an additional 7% price increase per unit, is this a good deal?

You should first check that Npower are the cheapest. Read Martin's advice on finding the cheapest supplier.

If you can get a fix to 2011 at a premium of 7% ..... I'd say it's a very very good deal.

I've just pushed my outlay up by 28% to get a fix with Scottish Power.

    Hello Mike

I've no idea how these % actually work out, however, the NPower agent assured me going onto a fixed deal until 2011, would only increase my monthly DD by around £2.00 pm, based on everything else going up recently, I think within the 3 years this deal is running, I may well be £'s in.
