Hi everyone, I wonder if anyone can help? I've just decided to delve into my electricity statements having only just realised I'm "in debit" because I chose online statements (very easily ignored) rather than paper ones. After talking to Powergen for an hour I kind-of understand how I'm being charged but I'm not sure…

Gas prices lower next year
Heard on Breakfast News this morning that gas prices might well be coming down next year - didn't hear the whole report, but heard that some new pipes in Norway and (I think) Belgium were going to make all the difference! What a relief that would be for all of us. Presumably those folk that are in capped rates would still…

Gas/Leccy bill in an empty house
Hi all, My 1st post here so go easy on me! I'm going to be leaving my house for long periods of time and the gas/electric/water will not be used. Does anyone have any suggestions as to who I should get to supply these. I guess the easiest would be a company who doesn't have a standing charge? Any ideas? Cheers Adam

End of year discount!
Using energy helpline I have found who to switch to but it seems that all the companys include an 'end of year discount' of around £60 which is included in the estimated savings so unless you stay with them for a year you will not get anywhere near the full amount, so is it really worth swapping ?
