Am I missing something?
I've been buying on ebay for many years, and I can usually spot things that are seriously too good to be true and can figure out the catch so avoid any pitfalls, more often than not I choose to walk away even if I have even a teeny hint of something not being kosher. What (if anything) am I missing here? Item is :…

Messed up on postage, what would you do?
I know this is my fault, should have weighed the item before quoting overseas postage but we all learn from our mistakes. I sold an item on e-bay, the item only sold for 8.79 and the buyer is from Spain, for some reason i quoted shipping for 9.95 for all overseas bidders, when i took it to the post office i was quoted…

Paypal Question (Probably Really Simple!)
I'm hoping to be successful on two items from one seller, auctions are ending within ten minutes of each other. Anyway the guy said if you buy more than one item it's cheaper postage, but as I've never used paypal before, I was under the assumption you paid for each item seperately and therefore the total would be wrong as…

Is it just me who is a bit suspicious of this and thinks Mr Postie might be signing it himself. Ebay Forces Sellers to Use PayPal
Apologies if this has already been covered. Ebay now owns PayPal, and surprise, surprise now all sellers must offer paypal as a method of payment - end of story - you have to enter a valid PP email address and it must be a verified or 'premium/business' account, not just a basic one! I have many misgivings about Paypal to…

Seller Refunded, Then Open Unpaid Item Dispute!
Hi Everyone, I wondered if anyone could enlighten me. I won the bid on an item on the 27th April and paid for it straight away. A week and a half went by and no item, this wasn't a problem but I was moving on the 11th May and wanted to make sure it was on it's way. It turns out the item was lost, the seller was unhelpful…

Freecycle Help Please
Hi, I posted a couple of 'Offered' items on my local Freecycle site last night (Bricks and Accountancy Material, so nothing offensive), but neither have appeared on the message list yet. I put Offered at the start of both subject lines. Is it normal to wait this length of time for them to be moderated? Is there a way to…

What should postage costs cover?
