I am wanting to undertake an MSc and require a professional and career development loan in order to do so. I plan to pay off half of the loan throughout my study, as it is interest free. However, one month after I finish studying I will begin to pay interest on the loan. My hope is to transfer the remainder of the loan…

How long have you been in debt for?
From turning 18 and getting my first credit card, I racked up debts right up until I was 35 so a total of 17 years. I'd hate to look back and see how much I paid/wasted on interest all those years by paying just minimum payments. I eventually managed to break the habit and have been debt free for 5 years :j

Advice Needed
Over the last year and a half, I've had various debt collectors after me over the same debt. The debt was originally rent for university accommodation, which I believed was paid at the time (I was 17, just moved from home, didn't really know what I was doing!). However recently they've got Stirling Park harassing me, as…

Friday 8th April - What small DFW things will you be doing today?!
When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym. But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when…

Hello everyone, I've had one of these e-mails from Cabot asking for a review. They've asked me to phone them but I'd really rather not deal with them by phone so what is the best way to go about it, ask Payplan to send them a new SOA? Also, they've said this - The most important thing for you to do now is to get in touch…

Want to check defaults have been removed by contacting issuers
Called the three main companies who do credit reports and they all said the best way to check is by emailing the issuers themselves and asking them if they have done so since it has been over 6 years. Now i know there was a website that listed the correct addresses to send this stuff to for each company but I don't have it…
