Hi there, I have the following debts: * IF Personal Loan - £2950 * Santander Loan - £6570 * Barclays Graduate Loan - £5590 * Overdraft - £2800 Whilst having the above debt is far from ideal (mainly because the monthly repayments for 3 unsecured loans adds up to over £550), payments on the above have always been made on…

What happens if you have been given T&C that contradict signed agreement?
I was about to terminate my welcome finance agreement under section 99 of the CCA I have now discovered that on the T&C I have it says I can do this - however on the agreement it says "you have no right to cancel this agreement under the CCA." so can they be made to accept the car back as it clearly states I can in the T&C?

Feel Useless...
Hi everybody, I have looked at other people's situations and I know I am by no means too bad off, but for my own expectations, I feel silly. Basically, I went to a top uni and worked hard for three years and received no help (which is fair enough), but I was also on the wrong student loan for this. My parents did not earn…

Default explanation needed
I have at least one default at the moment and am likely to ‘collect’ a few more off various creditors along the way. From reading various posts and threads I understand some of the logic behind a default but I could do with a few things clarifying; I’m just thinking to the future when hopefully I will be credit card debt…

HFO/ Roxburghe/ 3 !!! HELP!!
HI Everyone, New to this forum! I had a contract phone with 3G way back in 2003/2004. They totally messed up my account and after many infuriating calls back and forth explaining the same thing over and over again, I thought things had been sorted out, and that I in fact owed no money to 3 any more. Then, in 2009 (I had…

Debt collection - how far can they go?
I've started to receive unsolicited text messages on my mobile from a company called Bryan Carter & Co asking me to phone a number given & quote a reference regarding an 'urgent matter'. Some quick googling seems to show them up as some form of debt collection company. I have not received any letters or had any other form…

My girlfriend pays £5.60 a week on a tv licence payment card and about 6 months ago she didn't pay for a couple of weeks due to money problems, she then had someone from the tv licence come to the door and they cancelled the payment card she was using and they gave her a new one to use.
