Who is allowed to search my credit file without my permission?
Hi, quick question about credit files and who can search them; Does a debt collector need my permission to search my credit file? I was under the assumption no one can search my credit file without my permission (unless, for example, it was the police). Thanks.

capquest credit card debt date changed
Hi had capquest letter with photocopy of a credit card statement saying i paid £10 in 2003, and that the debt is thus not statute barred. i am certain i did not make a payment and have not for 7 years. should i know ask for the crdit agreement and send £1 po, any other tips to ask capquest many thanks
