Lloyds im so angry

I am on a payment plan with cccs and everything has been going fine i thought .About 6 months ago i had to reduce my payments to everyone so cccs helped me with my budget and contacted all my creditors agreed to me reducing my payments to them .Out of the blue i got a letter from Lloyds credit card i am over my agreed limit on my card i could not understand this as i was well under my limit i thought .It has turned out that Lloyds have agreed to me paying them £17.00 per month i have a letter confirming this but they now say because i reduced my payment to them they put up my interest so i have been paying £98 in interest for the last 6 months .I am so worried they are saying that i have not stuck to my payment plan .If i am only paying them £17 per month yet they keep charging me £98 in interest every month i am going to end up in more debt .

Hi first off you need tpo phone cccs and ask them what thay think you should do. Thay are there to help you and thay should be able to get this sorted.

Also when this is sirted you can get your own back by try to reclaim your chrges back.

Between you and cccs you need to try and get the intrest frozon on this accout.

    Hi

I have had similar with LLoyds credit card, and I also bank with them. Unfortunately CCCS could not persude them to stop charging interest although they did not charge me late payment fee

I found Lloyds more sympathetic when I dealt with them direct, although I had to cancel my DMP

Rang Lloyds yesterday to try to sort this mess not sure whether to still phone CCCS . I know i would worry all weekend if i didnt try to sort things out .I was put through to india call centre which was a bad line and at first i wasnt making myself clear as what i was ringing about .
In the end20 mins later they told me that as from next month the interest will be reduced not frozen but i would not be paying much in interest so thats better than nothing .They did say that i had been paying full interest since september and i should not have been i should have been paying the reduced interest rate so i asked could they refund back to my account all the interest which they had charged me for september ,october and november and he said no .They made this mistake once before and they refunded my account but this time even though they admit i should not have been charged so much interest they would not refund .They would owe me about £300 .
I am not sure whether to still ring CCCS and see whether they can get this refund for me or to just leave it as at least Lloyds are agreeing to the dmp ,i dont want to rock the boat to much .What do you think ?

They have no choice BUT to agree to your DMP, if you don't have the funds, you don't have the funds, simple as.

As for rocking the boat, there are several creditors out there who are more sympathetic than Lloyds will ever be.

Have you sent a CCA request to Lloyds?
Click here for Martins (MSE) advice on who to contact with Debt Issues - YOU HAVE NO REASON TO USE A FEE PAYING DEBT MANAGEMENT COMPANY- THEY CANNOT DO ANYMORE FOR YOU THAN THOSE LISTED IN MY LINK ABOVE.

No i have not requested a CCA why do i need to do this ? I am thinking this is a credit agreement do i need to ask for one ?

All my other creditors have been great even Lloyds loans & overdraft it is just Lloyds credit card which i seem to have problems with .I have just been so worried over the last few days about me paying £98 in interest every month and me making payment of £17 if that continued my debt would have doubled whilst i was on my DMP .
