Does a new Will simply supersede an old Will?
My mother has been quoted an extortionate amount of money to re-write her Will at the solicitors she has used all her life. If she was to go elsewhere to get it done cheaper, will the new Will simply supersede the old and make it redundant?

Will advice please - solicitor executor no longer practising
Hi I will try and keep this as brief as I can! My gran passed away a couple of weeks ago. The solicitor is named as executor and trustee but he is retired…

Grant of access to a property
Hi. So a parent died recently, with no will. First time probate - naturally confused
Everything to pass to partner (cash accounts, homes all in joint tenants) Except a s&s ISA, even though this will pass to the spouse as per the will. The ISA company want probate so it looks like I'll have to do probate just for this one item, the fact is the name individual savings account is a clue why it's not joint,…

My Dad has very little time left, maybe weeks to live and we are trying to sort out Power of Attorney, it’s actually doubtful whether it will go through in time. Buying out a sibling from house jointly inherited but still in estate.
house is part of late parents estate. It was valued in April 2018 - that amount was used for confirmation in Scotland. Confirmation was in Dec 2018.
