Had to pay twice - duplicate transaction
Hello everyone. Yesterday, I decided to go and do some out of town shopping and had to fill up at a Tesco petrol station. I paid with contactless, which the cashier claimed had caused her screen to 'freeze' with a claim that the transaction did not go through (no error displayed for me, no failed transaction receipt), and…

Question about interest
If I have a balance of say £3000 on my credit card and I decide to pay half of it one month and the other half the next month, the cards yearly interest rate is 22%. Does this mean the interest I'll have to pay would be calculated as 22% of £3000 = £660 / 12 months = £55 a month, so £110 interest in total for the 2 months?

Credit Card balance vs statement balance
Quick Question. If you have a Credit Card and the "bill" at the statement date is £620 (for example) and the statement due date is 6th Sep. This statement was generated 3 weeks ago so there has been further spending on it since then. So the balance now is £940. To ensure the statement is "Paid in Full" for credit reference…

Spending on Credit or Debit Cards
Hello! I'm going self-employed next month with a start-up business that has received a few thousand £s of seed funding. It's not likely to start bringing in an income however till Q1 2020. Advice Needed: Blacklist?
I have a number of credit cards I have used for years to move my debt around to keep on 0% for as long as possible, the debt amount has gone up and down over the years but at present is quite high. capital one - cash transaction
For capital one (Cap1) Does anyone know if it's made clear that a transaction is classified as a 'cash transaction' as soon as it's processed (i.e. when it appears in 'recent transactions' via online banking) or is it only made clear when the statement is produced? Of course, I'm aware that interest owed is only shown on…

Any good zero percent offers about?
I'm looking to do a balance transfer and was wondering if there are any lenient lends about doing zero percent deals? I've looked through the credit club and Natwest, looks like my best option. Although I have a (fully loaded) card with them already, so not sure they would give me a new one, with zero percent? I've done…
