Credit Card balance vs statement balance

Quick Question.
If you have a Credit Card and the "bill" at the statement date is £620 (for example) and the statement due date is 6th Sep.
This statement was generated 3 weeks ago so there has been further spending on it since then. So the balance now is £940.
To ensure the statement is "Paid in Full" for credit reference purposes, do I need to pay off the whole balance of £940 or is it just the actual statement amount of "£620"?
I'm thinking £620 but just want to make sure.

Someone might come along to correct me but I'd also agree you would pay £620 this month and when the next statement lands the amount shown on there. It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.0

It's the statement balance that is reported....so £620.0

Great, thanks BoGoF
I would usually just pay it off to 0 but it's usually only around £400 max, but bought a new couch this month, then the statement came and then, of course, we had to get a new rug and a new coffee table
£900 could be done but is a bit of a push to pay off as far as cash-flow is concerned so just wanted to make sure.0 -
£620.
They remaining £320 (providing you don’t spend more, if you do then adjust as per spend) will be statemented the next month.0 -
That's where your 'up to 54 days interest-free' comes from. From the point the statement is produced you can start spending (limit permitting) to be included on the next statement and paid some 3 weeks or so later.0
