in Credit cards
I hope I am posting in the right part of the forum. I am looking for some advice for my situation.
I want to get my first mortgage in approximately 2 years from now (1 year might be an option too) but I do not have any credit score history.
I also wish to buy a new car within the next 5 months, using a 0% interest purchase credit card.
To build my score I intend to get a cash-back credit card and start using it for monthly bills/spending.
Is it a problem to open 2 credit cards at the same time or should I first get the cashback credit card and then the 0% purchase one for the car.
Thank you for you time.

Just be aware many garages will not take a credit card payment for the full amount (due to charges) You can make a deposit, but the rest will be via other payment method.
So check with the garage 1st before getting a card just for that.Life in the slow lane0 -
With no credit history don't just assume you are going to be able to get a cashback and a 0% APR on spending card. Both of these types are typically more likely to be offered to people with a good credit history.0

1. You don’t have a score
2. Not all dealers will take CC
3. What’s your current credit history?0
