credit card max payment
Hi - sorry if this is the wrong board. I'm trying to boost my credit rating by using my credit card as much as possible and having a direct debit set up to pay off the balance in full. But I notice that there's a time lag of a few weeks between the point where the statement is issued and the point where I pay it off (e.g.…

Shocked by Optimum Prepaid Mastercard T&C
After reading today's MSE weekly email I chanced upon the Optimum Prepaid Mastercard when looking at credit cards and thought this card would be a good card to use to register with Google/Amazon/Ebay etc. to limit fraud/over-spending... I was under the impression that Pre-paid cards were... Pre-paid, i.e. you load them and…

Scam site?
I used my credit card on a site yesterday for a music software download. I was surprised that there was no confirmation. I looked the site up today to see that it could be a dodgy one. Having cancelled my card I am worried about any repercussions if my card has been already used fraudulently.

second Tesco card or M&S
I need a new 0% card for purchases. Has anyone successfully applied for a second Tesco card? What was the credit limit like and were you given the longest potential interest free period? I was also thinking about the M&S card as an alternative. How have credit limits offered by M&S compared with other cards?

I've got a Vanquis card and have been trying to change my name since I got married last year.
