Years ago my wife took out one of the above and has just contatct them re the card and they firstly took a 3 week s to answer 1 email and then 1 week plus to respond second one and have advised the following 4.99 for new card or 5.00 admin charge to withdraw amount in account which been there for 4 years plus
Any advise to why the are asking for payment for new card charge to withdraw cash ?

    It's not clear what kind of prepaid card, but any such cards are designed to catch people out with various fees and are usually terrible value. Pay the charge to get your money and close it, don't use such cards in future.
