Help - MBNA bandits DPA compensation
Hi, I'm new to this forum and hope you can help...bit of a long story. I went into my bank yesterday, and was offered a great deal on a CC, so thought I'd apply (I’m aiming to get them paid off this year so 0% interest for a while would be great). They rejected me (the assistant couldn't believe it as my accounts were in…

Using Credit Cards abroad - conversion issue?
HI there, can anyone enlighten me re this issue? Having followed Martin's advice, I use a Nationwide Credit Card for non-cash purchases when abroad, but have now come across an issue regarding conversion from Euro's to £'s. Barclaycard Prechecker
Is the barclaycard prechecker accurate? I've just done it, and been told I have an 80-90% chance of getting a barclaycard simplicity. But, looking at the summary box, it states you need to be 21 to apply. I'm 20....I did enter my date of birth on the prechecker. Is there any point me applying? It looks like a nice card!
