Problems with mbna

Can any one please help me? I have had a running battle with MBNA. I requested them under data protection rules to supply me with PPI info and also claimed back charges. They failed to respond so I withheld payments to my ccs (they had sent a letter to the wrong address). They then used an Indian firm of debet collectors who phoned me at the weekends at 7:30 to 8:00 in the morning and at work where my boss toook the call. I wrote to MBNA again no reply and was then subjected to a series of calls over about a year. I offered to make a token payment but this was ignored eventually I agrred to make a series of monthly payments but MBNA took out double the amount on the last months payment which caused me to incurr bank overdraft charges. There is much more to this but space is limited so the above is a rough summary.
I complained to the FSO who have (after a year) awarded me £75 and will make MBNA appologise! I think that MBNA shouyld refund all intrest and penalty charges they took from me. How do I go about taking them on since the FSO will not and I cannot afford expensive litigation.
Thanks

I can't help with the rest of the post but if mbna took more by direct debit than you were notified of, you are entitled to an IMMEDIATE refund FROM YOUR OWN BANK. This is part of the direct debit guarantee.
Don't be fobbed off by the bank saying something like "once you've signed a direct debit they can take what they want". This is simply not true. They can only take out what they have notified you of ("notified" is slightly different to "agreed").
If you can prove this point then a refund of late charges is not an unreasonable request but you may have to fight for that too.We need the earth for food, water, and shelter.

Many thanks I will get on to that.0
