How long to update credit report/score
After paying off credit cards and/or cancelling them how long does it take for your credit report/score to update to reflect this? I want to apply for a loan or a new CC and dont want my previous debt counting against me. Any help appreciated :)

Where do i go now. i have 3 defaults almost 6 years now, all settled been so for almost 5 years. got a cc with capital one had it 3 years with 550 limit. got a basic account with lloyds tsb, just recently opend an rbs current acount. any ideas where i might get a cc with a better rate. Cancel existing tesco credit card and sign up for a 0% interest one.

Running two 0% promos at same time....
Question, if you had say £1000 on a 0% offer till Dec, you then put £1500 now on another 0% offer that expires in May. Come Dec, you pay off £1000. will this clear the original offer or not? whats everyones experience?
