£5,000 to invest for 6 months
My credit card company has offered me £5K on 0% interest until October 2006. Has anyone any suggestions on the best way to invest this to earn the maximum interest. I obviously don't want to take any risks with the 5 grand investment.

Big debt and no way to pay
A friend of mine (no, really) has allowed a debt of over £10,000 to pile up on her credit card over the last few years. She left home to study and has a part-time job but, of course, there's still a gap between income and out-goings. (So much for free education!) Obviously a credit card was totally the wrong way to go but…

Does anyone know a good credit card with 0% for as long as possible?
Hi, I've just bought my first house but literally every penny I had almost, went on my 10% deposit and fee's. Unfortunately, the house is a mess and desperately needs a kitchen, carpets and curtains at the very least. Can anyone recommend a credit card with a long interest free period? It doesn't matter what the rate is…

Excellent credit rating but Morgan Stanley refused me
After reading posts here and Martin's book, I piped up for a new credit card with Morgan Stanley as I liked the fact I'd get cashback. I have been with First Direct credit card for a while (switching between their gold/normal card once) and before I applied for the MS one I checked my credit rating with Experian and it was…

Marbles rise my APR
I just got a letter with my last Marbles statement telling me that my Annual Interest Rate for balances transfers and purchases will rise from 9.9% to 12.9%. When I got my Marbles credit card, it was at 7.9%, then 9.9%, now it will be at 12.9%. Is it a general trend in the credit card business to rise the APRs or is it…
