in Credit cards
Hi all,
This is my first post and a little help would be most appreciated.
Last week, I booked a holiday on line, selected the "pay deposit only" option and provided my debit card details. The next day, while attempting to draw out some cash from my account, I discovered to my horror that the travel agents had actually taken the full amount for the holiday and left me overdrawn.
Despite numerous requests and threats, the money still has not been re-credited. Problem is, I'm a driving instructor and cannot buy fuel for the car. This is causing severe embarassment, not to mention loss of income from all the lessons I have had to cancel over the last 11 days.
What recourse do I have? Have they actually "stolen" the money? Have they done anything illegal? Should I claim for loss of income?
And lots more................
Help appreciated
