Hi I have a Halifax flat rate credit card and ordered a Sony psp from yesasia.com in Japan. The order went through fine and I recieved my psp from yesasia via the UPS courier service. Sadly box that the psp came in was damaged and on opening up the psp I found that it would not read any discs. UPS collected the package to…

Defamation by credit card company
Has anyone had any experience of a credit card company wrongfully charging late payment fees and interest, the credit card bank then acknowledging that they did receive payment in time then credited the late payment fee back but repeatedly charging interest on the late interest than was not owed in the first place. What if…

Best card for internet shopping
I buy quite a lot of items over the internet - maybe £5,000 over a year - anything from small items <£5 up to £500 items. Cashback Credit Cards - where to use AMEX
This is my first thread so sorry if I go wrong!! I have been following Martin's advice about not using Debit Cards and instead getting myself a Cashback Credit Card. I've decided from his articles that I would be best to go for the American Express Blue card, but as he notes you cannot use American Express everywhere, I…

Problem with CC guarantee
I sold a voucher for a Red Letter Day on eBay for £180 in May. The buyer paid by PayPal, which debited their credit card. free money from interest free 45 day period
When you buy something with your credit card which has a 45 day after purchase interest free period, there must be a way of making this money earn interest. Does anyone have a solution?. I recently applied online for a NatWest credit card, on a balance transfer basis. The card and PIN came through fine, but when on the offchance I checked the balance on the card, it was clear that no debt had in fact been transferred. I checked the balance of the card I was transferring the debt from and it hadn't changed…

Recommendations needed
Afternoon everyone. My wife and I are looking into getting a credit card. I've looked through MSE until I'm blue in the face and in the end have decided the best thing to do is to throw it open to personal opinions. At the moment, we are using a Barclays debit card for most of our joint account purchases. Everything from…

Applied for the wrong card!!!
I recently applied for a Sainsburys Card which I misread as being 0% for 10 months on purchases AND balance transfers! However upon recieving the papers to sign this morning I noticed my mistake and note that the card is 0% for purchases only! As a Natwest current account holder their 9 month 0% card would be better for…

If not are there any cards…
