HSBC Wrong Phone Number
My partner got locked out of his HSBC app. The app asked him to call 0345 600 2390 to unlock the app. This phone number is for the Co-op Bank, mortgage department. My partner didn't hear the Co-op bit, just the bank, when they answered, so started answering their security questions, breaching his own security. Correct…

Switching more than 1 account

Has anyone had experience of switching more than one account? Is it easy? And how are all the standing orders I have between the 3 accounts handled?

Ex-Landlord threatening me with fraud for using his/our address for credit checking
Excuse the long message: two years ago I moved out of rented accomodation and bought my first house. Since then I’ve completed new home insurance, new mortgage and opened a new bank account. Current Accounts - Power of Attorney and security arrangements - recommendations please
Hi I have POA for my mum, who still has capacity but struggles with technology. We both bank with First Direct, and I live hundreds of miles from her. My mum likes to feel in control of her money and keeps a close eye on her account, she preferred to do this by logging into the FD website, and although she does not use…

Joint Account (Savings) Recommendation
If anyone is looking to open a joint savings account with minimum effort, I'd like to recommend NS&I Direct Saver. I know interest rates are horrible right now but we needed a joint account to keep around £1500 separate for annual household bills. Our current accounts are with Lloyds so initially I opened a savings account…

He sent our account number with a double 6 instead of 8, the client has paid it into the wrong account. Any advice on what we can do to get it back? Its a santander to a santander. Our…

I closed my BoS accounts down to streamline the banking. I figured everyone has done their switching incentives now and i've got nobody else to benefit from. In comes Lloyds to show me how wrong I was. The only account i actually have spare now is an RBS account, except last month i also took out their regular saver…

HSBC Secure Key
I got my HSBC secure key and got access to my HSBC online banking again but it is still a lot of faff compared to my other bank accounts. User name then other info then entering a pin into secure key then entering a code, compared to three letters on a drop down menu for my other accounts.

I've just had a slightly worrying if not threatening letter from Tesco Bank headed (in red) "PLEASE READ - THIS IS A FORMAL DEMAND FOR REPAYMENT OF YOUR OVERDRAFT" and ending (in bold) "This is extremely serious. Please do not ignore this letter. You must get in touch with us immediately to avoid further damage to your…
