Best Current Account for Pensioner

Hi,
My MIL has received notification that the DWP will no longer be paying her pension into the Post Office and is required to provide them with a bank account. She would like to open a new bank account for this purpose but after spending hours researching I'm still not 100% where to go. It doesnt have to be fancy just have a debit card and the ability to withdraw cash from cash points and the Post Office if she happens to be there.
Thanks

It shouldn't take hours to find something suitable.

Does she have an existing current account, joint with spouse perhaps?
Just open a sole account with same bank if so?
Otherwise Nationwide might suit?0
