Paying in

Quick question, I’ve been told by employer to pay any cash held on site into company account using a scanned Paying in slip that he emailed to me. Will the bank accept this? Many thanks

If the information is correct and the cash is real then why do you think the bank would care?
It's saved them money as they haven't had to print it.
You could phone and ask them, but there is no logical reason to refuse.

Is this personal or company funds?
If it's personal, are company going to send the money to your personal account?

Your assuming that their systems won't have an issue with a scanned deposit slip.
They aren't made by any Tom, !!!!!! or Harry but approved printers.

I doubt this will work. Barclays require debit card and pin or pre printed paying in slip to pay cash in. The OP hasn’t stated wether they plan to print it off or just show them the paying in slip from an email. If they print it off it’s unlikely their equipment will read a scanned copy of the paying in slip, that’s even if they try to use it if they know it’s a copy. If they plan to just show it to them on an email, they have no chance of paying cash in with it.
