Overdraft - worth applying in branch?
Hi, I currently bank with Halifax and have been unsuccessful whenever I've tried to apply for overdrafts through the internet. I do have a pretty bad credit rating so I'm certain that this is the stumbling block, I was just wondering if it would be worth my while going into a branch with some documentation (payslips etc)…

Yolt, OnTrees, Bankin, Money Dashboard
I have given all of these a try in the last few days. Only MD and Yolt have been successful with all my accounts. Bankin' and OnTrees fail on Credit Cards. My main question though, is there any of these apps that show pending transactions - pending transactions are always the bane of my life...

Opening a NW flex direct c/acc
Hi All, About 18 months ago,because the interest rate had dropped after 12 months,I switched a NW Flexdirect c/acc. to Halifax for the £125 switching bonus. I still have a NW credit card that I use from time to time.Will I be able to apply for a new Flexdirect,or will the switch affect the application ?.

Barclays seem to give accounts to anybody and are pushing really hard at first time buyers for mortgages. They do seem to have very deep pockets though so I don't know.
