CHAPs processing times

Hi everyone..I know that CHAPs payments are same day provided that the information is submitted by 2pm/2:30pm/3pm (depending on bank) but if for example a payment was made at 10am this morning... how long does it take to reach the recipient ? Is it still by 5pm? Or it should go through a few hours after payment was made?

There's no set timeframe for it to complete, usually it would be in a few hours, but as long as it's done by the end of the business day they have met their commitment.0
