Business or Personal Account?
My son is setting up his own (small) business and there is conflicting advice re opening a business account. Some on offer have 18months free fees so there is time open one and think about it. It appears to me it is not mandatory to open a business account - what is the best option or is not that easy to decide?

Santander Current Account v ISA
Good evening, I am weighing up what it the best option for our savings. We currently have a little over £7,000 saved so far this year and wondered whether we put it in a Santander current account or an easy access ISA? We can put it in my name as I currently do not work so I don't pay any tax if that is a factor. Also we…

Direct debits 123 account
Please can you tell me if I will still recieve my interest this month on my Santander 123 account!, I think I did a silly thing by paying my telephone bill with talktalk to save myself a few quid on the 10%early payment scheme , therefore talktalk will not now draw the d/d this month , as it's already been paid. Or does…

Student Bank Account with overdraft, changing away from it?
So I have a student bank account with Barclays. It has a £1,500 student overdraft on it. Converted my current account in 2009 to a student one. Graduated 2014. Am I right in thinking that the overdraft on it is only in agreement for me to have paid in my student finance to the account, which I did? What I'm wondering is,…

Switching to Nationwide FlexDirect
Hi, I'm thinking of switching to Nationwide FlexDirect, partly to take advantage of a TopCashBack offer, but mostly for the 5% interest. Looking at the T&Cs I can see £1000 needs to go in a calendar month, but can't see anything about having to set up DD. Is that the case? Thanks.

Unarranged overdraft fee payment date
Does anyone know if Santander would allow you to change the date of paying overdraft fees? I am hoping to get the date changed to 1 week later as I would not have the money until then. Would this be possible or would I be wasting my time ringing them?

£8000 cash from Santander
What is Santander's policy in withdrawing £8000 cash from a branch? Should I just turn up and ask for it, or should I call the branch first? I used to bank with RBS and they wouldn't give me £1100, I had to go home for my passport. :(
