Paypal DD for halifax reward

Good Afternoon,

I am sure this has been asked hundreds of times but can't find it when searching. I have a Halifax reward account and need to set up DD to qualify for the reward.

How do I set up a monthly DD for money to leave Halifax to go to paypal?

Thanks in advance

    You can't set up an automated monthly payment; you have to do it manually every month:
    • add your bank account (if not already added);
    • select 'Add money';
    • then add money to your PayPal account using the 'PayPal moves money from your bank account' option.

    Add a monthly alarm to your smartphone (or a mark on your calendar) to remind complete the DD every month. :T

    Is that classed as a direct debit (I am assuming thats what the OP means by DD)

    I could be wrong though:)

    Yes. PayPal pulls the money as a Direct Debit. :)

    A Tesco Instant Access Savings account is useful if you haven't used it as one of your Direct Debit options already. It will allow automated monthly Direct Debits to be get set up.

    One yes, Two no. You can only set up one mandate to one account, no matter how often you pull money it is the same mandate.

    Thanks for the posts here. So I can get experience directly from those using it, what's the charge for putting money back into your bank account from paypal and what is the minimum DD deposit from your bank account?

    There's no charge for the transfer. I usually send £1 but I think you can send less.
