First Direct - how long to pay switching incentive?

Im sure this has been answered on here but i cant find it quickly.....
the Ts and Cs say 'Open a 1st Account, then transfer your income of at least £1,000 per month using the Current Account Switch Service within three months of your account opening and we'll add £100 to your account'
Is the first £1000 the trigger for the 28 days to payment or is it £1000 for three months?
....and do they usually take the full 28 days or pay sooner?
Thanks as always.......

Yes, and that's all you have to pay in for the incentive...1 x £1K.nearlyretired2004 wrote: »Is the first £1000 the trigger for the 28 days to payment
Sooner in my experience...9 calendar days (not working days!) after meeting the requisite conditions (switch completed and £1K credit made same day).....and do they usually take the full 28 days or pay sooner?0 -

I hate to wait a whole 11 days. It's all so unfair

The switching is easy – getting your debit card delivered with First Direct can be quite a challenge if you aren’t housebound!
Unlike most other banks who simply pop in the post or use Royal Mail signed for First Direct seem to use a delivery firm called DX who can turn up at any time from 9am to 5pm. If you miss them you can’t collect it from a depot but have to rearrange delivery to home or work – or ask for it to be delivered to a relative/friend (who is in all day) who has to provide proof of their identity and yours(!) before the card will be handed over. And even then they won’t give a specific timeslot – just a day.
Am happy to wait in all day for a fridge or a washing machine to be delivered – but not a debit card.0 -
15 calendar days for me!0

OK ...OH got her incentive this morning - 13 calendar day...... but my 'refer a friend' incentive not yet paid. Surely whatever triggers one payment should trigger both?
Again, anybody else got experience of whether they were paid at the same time, or what the delay is between them?
As usual..... any comments gratefully received.....0
