Does such an account exist?
We're looking to cut down on expenses and on our list is the fact we pay £12.50 for the Halifax Ultimate reward Account. As we dont really use most of the facilities,we could do with switching but we need the £1000 overdraft that is included with the account from time to time. Do any banks accounts elsewhere possibly offer…

Does it matter that I know nothing about banking?
I am not in debt When I hear banking terms and conditions I turn off. I don't get what APR is, I don't understand what my overdraft limit is, when I get a fine or when I have to pay it back for. I don't really understand an ISA. Apparently its tax free saving.. yet today I had an option transfer my ISA to a new decent rate…

Lloyds overdraft fee
I have £150k in a Lloyds Easy Saver and currently £40k in their current account (Classic Plus). Bank charges from 9 years ago. They want the debt cleared now.
Please can someone help me with this? In 2002 I opened a bank account with Natwest. My rent was supposed to be paid by direct debit but my landlord only accepted standing orders; they didn't tell me that. Soon after opening the account, when it came to pay the rent, the landlord didn't tell me that they only accepted…

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-13695189 Lloyds can't force its customers to become clients of the bank that buys its branches. But in the absence of being able to compel customers to do their business with the new owners, it is not at all clear how you would put a price on the business being sold. I am told that Lloyds…

Every other bank displays this information, why not…
