Natwest overdraft - 4th year of education, 3rd year of course?

Helloooo! I hope i've posted this in the right place!
Right, this looks confusing so i'll explain as best as I can.
I have a natwest student account, which I got when I first went to uni to do psychology. I transfered from psychology to do a different degree course after doing one year. However, I didn't let Natwest know, as I wanted to carry on getting more of an overdraft each year and was worried it would affect it!
My overdraft is currently at £1600 for the 3rd year, but as I transferred, i'm actually now only just going into the 3rd year of my newer course. I was wondering if my overdraft can be increased in September as it's my 4th year in education, or if I cannot have it increased as it's the 3rd year of my current course?
I hope this makes sense! I went onto Natwest chat earlier to talk to a representative but he was a bit rubbish. He said something about me being able to apply for up to £2000 at any time? That didn't sound right. Is it??
Any help would be greatly appreciated, I am sooooooooo skint right now!!

You can (as it is something I did too) but I'd advise you to try and avoid any more debtCredit Card paid back in Full (June 2011): :j £500 in the clear -

I'd love to try to avoid it, but if the option is there, I feel like i'll have no choice - i'm SO poor right now
Did you tell them you changed course 2 years ago? As I changed 2 years ago but each time i've extended my overdraft, i've told them i'm still on the same course (the first one I actually transferred from). Don't want to get into trouble :P
Did they ask for any proof that you'd changed course?0 -

The proof is in the p...aperwork
You need to let them know as it will also affect your graduate overdraft when/if you graduate as you're interest free limit will always reduce a year earlier.
Easiest way to sort it is to get a letter from your uni confirming who you are, what you're studying, where you live and what year you're in. Request it on the uni's letterheaded paper and take the original into a branch to get it sorted.

I told them I was a student, gave proof and told them I wanted the full 2K limit and they gave to me.Credit Card paid back in Full (June 2011): :j £500 in the clear -
