Club Mandate Advice Needed
About 2 years ago I signed a club banking mandate to become a signatory on the account. Sometime later, a considerable amount of fraud was committed on the account. I have now requested a copy of the original document I signed, to see if the document had been correctly filled in by our club secretary and was genuine (no…

I graduated last year with an overdraft of £1500 up to its limit. I was out of work for a while and nothing was paid into the…

Any bank account that provides...
Send and receive faster payments AND will email or text you (in real time) if a lodgement/deposit/FPS etc is received in your account. I have Cahoot, and can set up texts for these deposits, but 1. the texts don't get sent until the next day, and 2. no chance of them having FPS anytime soon. CHeers, Des.

I'm wondering if anyone can offer me some advice. A couple of months ago my Husband withdrew £20 from a cash point without realising there was not £20 in the account. HMRC being nosey?
Hi One of my colleagues just surprised me by saying that UK banks are required to notify HMRC about deposits even into personal accounts above a certain limit. They're welcome to my meagre amounts LOL and I suppose it's to combat crime, but is this really true? Surely there must be some kind of data protection/privacy…

Dollar Bank Accounts
I'm about to sell all the shares I own due to a change in circumstances. The share price is good right now but the exchange rate isn't. I've been advised that it would be beneficial to open a dollar account and hold it there to see if the rates change in my favour over the next few months. Has anyone got any advice?
