First Direct branch location?

First Direct account holders, what is the First Direct branch location?

I am trying to add my bank account to Paypal and it requires a Branch location. As it's First Direct this isn't so obvious, I'll call them tonight unless someone knows off the top of their head?

It should be on your statements - if not give them a call.

They don't have any branches. That's the whole point of them.

The head office is at 40 Wakefield Road, Leeds, LS98 1FD and that's the address that appears on cheques and statements, so I should use that for Paypal.

Thanks, I don't have a cheque book or paper statements though I did see those details on the Contact page of their website. I just wasn't sure that would satisfy Paypal's system. On previous bank accounts the branch is just the name of the town or city and obviously First Direct has no specific branch. So presumably I put 'Leeds' in this scenario, think I'll double check with them tonight as Paypal threaten a charge if a payment gets returned due to an invalid bank account.

I use the FD HQ addy when asked but use local HSBC branch for deposits.

I use First Direct account with PayPal and the head office address is fine to use
