Holiday Pay & Tax
Hi everyone, I was paid 7 days of annual leave in error this month which obviously led to me paying more tax and NI than usual. Payroll is going to reverse this for next month and deduct this holiday pay from my salary so I assume that I will pay less tax and NI than I normally would each month? Thanks

Can Anyone Help Me Understand My Council Tax Bill?
Hi, I'd be very grateful if anyone is able to clarify a couple of points for me as I'm very confused. We've just had our council tax bill sent through for this year and they've factored in a weekly deduction for a non dependent. The non dependent is my 19 year old son who has learning disabilities. He qualifies for the SMI…

One off Tax Credits payment not received
Hi, I am currently on tax credits although I haven’t received a payment for some time as I was told I was ‘overpaid’ a couple of years ago so the monthly payment is being held back until that overpayment has been collected back (around £300). However I am still registered for tax credits and have a Help to Save account. I…

Adult Social Care question - home help
I hope this is the most appropriate place for this question... Would a local authority provide home carers, if the person needing care was living in the marital home, but separately, as the relationship with the spouse is over, and the spouse therefore refuses to provide any care for their (still legal) spouse? Would the…

ESA Reclaim for 16 Hours Work
Hi I claimed ESA for circa 18 months. DWP have now written to me to reclaim the full amount £7500 because…
