Hi , I’m on income based esa , pip and also get the sdp , I am moving in with my friend for a bit , not related or a partner , will they stop the sdp ?

Will you be liable to pay your share of the rent? Or are you just going to be living there rent free?

Then it's unlikely that you will still be entitled to the SDP, unless your friend is also receiving either PIP daily living or DLA mid/high rate care.Once you move out if you need help with the rent then you will need to claim Universal Credit because new claims for housing benefit are no longer possible. If at that time you qualify for the SDP then you should claim this before you make a claim for UC because then you will be entitled to the transitional protection in with the UC maximum entitlement.1
