claiming Universal Credit & distance learning
I am a mature graduate who has successfully achieved a good undergraduate degree. I've just been accepted onto a full-time distance learning course which has been funded (fee waiver). Basically what I want to know is if I can continue to claim Universal credit should I not be able to get into work by September?

Child tax credit question
We haven't yet submitted a claim for child tax credit, but did talk to the hmrc last week, who confirmed we'd be entitled and gave us an indicative figure. Is this figure likely to change for this tax year If I submit a claim in the next week or so? Are there any changes that take effect immediately?

How will tax credit cuts effect me?
We are a family of 5 with 3 young children Wife works 33 hours a week and earns 12000 a year I work 16 hours a week and earn 6000 a year We currently get £10000 a year child tax credits including disability element for me. Will it effect us much? We dont get rent or ct benefits.

Asking for a relative who has 4 children and one on the way so what does that mean for tax credits from April 2017 as the chancellor said third child after 2017 so what if you already have more than 2 children? Thanks

What do the new changes to tax credits mean?
I understand they are frozen for 4 years and that it will be limited to 2 children for new claimenrs after 2017, but what about the other changes? Something about them being withdrawn at a lower or higher rate as a person earns?
