Concentrix
Hi I've been asked to provide extra info by phone, however I cannot get through to them, I'm constantly on hold for nearly an hour before I give up when the wait time they say is approx 20 mins. I really don't know what to do as I can't afford to be on hold for so long. Has anyone else had similar problems with them?

Huge Drop in Post Budget WTC for the Self Employed
Just thought I would run some figures through some of the online calculators following the budget. It would seem that those who currently claim WTC and are self employed will be in for a massive drop in their WTC entitlement to the point that some will receive nothing even if their profits equal NMW. For example: a single…

Can someone simplify the budget changes for tax credits
How will the announcements yesterday effect people for tax credit purposes. How will it effect single parent families with two children, working more than 30 hours on £15,000 paying childcare. How will it effect a family on £27000 both working one 22 hours one 40 hours with one child paying £400 a month childcare. A family…

We have 4 children: 17, 16, 5 & 3. 2 older ones are still in school doing A'Levels. We had previously received Child Benefit of approx. £244 a month for them. When the earnings threshold kicked in I found my gross earnings from 2 jobs just over the £60k mark as I had worked a lot of O/T, received a good bonus and put a…

Social housing after the budget
Hi all Just wondering if anyone can shed any light on the situation for social housing tenants after the Budget. Is the rent increase to paying market rent for those who have a household income of over £30,000 likely to be gradually phased in over a period of months/years, or will families be required go from what they are…

My partner thinks I should give him my working tax credit, who's right?
My partner is thinking of quitting his job to become a student, meaning our household income would drop enough for me (employed) to get working tax credit. Although it'd technically be me getting it, I'd assumed we'd split it 50/50 since we split all household bills and childcare and our child benefit income equally. We've…
