Carers allowance for my daughter

my daughter is thinking of claiming carers allowance for me she is 18 and not doing anything else
please can anyone tell me how much a week she would receive in benefits
I'm also in reciept of dla

she could claim an income support top up and a carers premium.
here total entitlement would be around £105 a week/

does she provide at least 35 hours of care for you each week?
is your DLA care award at least middle rate?

personally, i wouldn't encourage any 18 year old to become their parents carer.
they need to be working and experiencing a work environment outside of the home.
in years to come, her life will be made more difficult if all her experience revolves around caring for a parent

I have a query,basically I live with my non dependant daughter she is thinking of working quite a lot of hours ,I'm disabled and on dla I was wondering would I have to pay rent,if she decided to work full time?

Was she unable to find the hours?

yes its over 35 hours of care its 7 days per week with well over 35 hours within the entire week would her entitlement still be £103 a week .

As the daughter is aged 18 the maximum she would receive each week would be £92.50. This would be made up of £62.10 Carer's Allowance and £30.40 Income Support.

wasnt sure if there was an age limit when it came to claiming IS as a carer

I think it's just lone parents aged 18 to 24 who get the full (25+) rate of IS.
