I have been trying to contact the "helpline" since Friday morning. On Friday a man said "that the computers were down". I have since tried at least 20 more calls, at different times of the day , a message is saying due to high call volume "please call back later". I have a housing interview with my Boyfriend on Tuesday at the local council. He is homeless and at the moment stopping at his mothers on a short term basis. I am just about to apply for JSA and the notes say I have to tell them all my savings, and yet on the front of the form it states that any savings will have no effect on contribution based JSA. Why then do I have to give them this personal information?

Anyone has used the "entitledto.co.uk" calculator? My circumstances show a £80 a week housing benefit, and my local councill did tell me that i'm only eligible for no more than £20 a week. This is only a estimated as i haven't move yet to the property. A bit confused????
