Requesting credit after bankruptcy
Hello, Looking to build up my credit profile but had a question. When I apply for credit for a car (relatively low value) - when they do the credit check does it tell them I have previously been bankrupt? Or is it a simple yes or no based on my score. thank you

Old Bank account stll has balance 6 years after bankrupcy
I declared myself bankrupt in late 2015, and was discharged 12 months later. I just discovered that a bank account which was sequestered(?)/frozen by the OR is still showing as having a balance of £300. (Got an email from bank about it, and phoned customer services). Before I take the day off work to go visit the bank in…

Council tax - is this a normal process?
Not sure if this is a normal process to go through and I just need to grit my teeth and deal with it, or if my council are just being really bad at communicating. I had a court summons for CT shortly after my BR date. I foolishly assumed they would know I was BR and it would be OK. Bailiff threats for the following few…

Debt Relief Order and Lump Sum (Bonus)
I am unsure of the rules here and would appreciate if someone could offer a little clarity. When working out income and expenditure, after tax amounts are used. Does this apply to a one off lump sum, such as a bonus. So, if I received a £1150 bonus (over the £1000 limit), but the after tax amount was approximately £800 -…
