I have been hanging around the diaries for around a month , decided to subscribe a get rid of the debt once and for all. I had a dmp which ended 3 years ago but owing to a drop in salary have managed to get myself in around 5 k debt again. Once I have Jan statements for credit card will be able to tell true figures.

I have signed up for swag bucks today and done a couple of surveys. Need to do SOA , but not sure how much to put in categories like household repairs for one .

Any help filling it in gratefully received.

Decided to do PPI check on old Northern Rock mortgage. Low and behold I had it , got letter today confirming it. Had no idea at all , bit mad really.

Anyway have started claim , fingers crossed I get something .

Had a secured loan but can't remember who with and it was about 10 years ago , so no luck there .

Spends all updated and feeling much calmer about money this pay month.

The cash back for car insurance has tracked and says 21 weeks to payment so we will see , but if it does £32.50 will be payable.
Took car to garage today as tyre looked a bit flat , had a big nail in it so £10 for repair . Am glad it has been mended as doing a few miles on motorway in next few days.

Going to stay with a friend for 2 days , then off to my fave place for 3 days can't wait . Have some extra petrol money in budget and a few pound spends , but shouldn't really spend much as full board tues to Thursday .

Did a £5 top up shop today on a few bits for Friday when I get back , bread in the freezer , yoghurts and cheese.

Best get to bed have a busy day tomorrow.

Back from hols and managed not to use more money than I took. Extra £20 spent on petrol getting there and back.
Have managed to find recipe thread, and made 3 bean curry for the freezer , already had everything in to make it with.
Defrosted the freezer this morning , so have room for more food from my batch cooking. Tomorrow I am doing corned beef hash to put in freezer as well .
On the money front , everything is quiet at the minute, need to be careful with money until payday. Trying not to accept any invitations out and do entertaining at home.
I need to get to grips with what I have bought for Christmas for people already , I have a list but think some things I may have missed off .

I have now put 4 enquiries in about ppi and have had one come back with a positive reply , will await others and take it from there.
You have nothing to lose checking if you had it in the past, if you can remember who you had things with ie loans cc etc.
Anyway have been to bargain shop and spent £9.99 , tomorrows weekly shop will be more than £20 as have used all the freezer food up , but I have some extra money as didn't buy much last week being away.

Surveys P A is up to about £8.30 so will wait for a whole to cash out.

    That's it I think.

Should be back in work today but have had horrendous earache for about 48 hours. Got doctors appointment in an hour hopefully it will get sorted.

On the money front gym have taken 2 lots of money from my account, I had a sneaky feeling this would happen as had problems when trying to get in with my pass. Said it had been sorted two weeks ago but no 2 payments have come out today.

Anyway bank have done/doing a refund and gym have let me have my membership at the lower direct debit rate as compensation. Just awaiting email from said gym of our conversation.
Will be £2 a month cheaper now .

Need to get dressed for doctors but looks a bit wild outside , wonder if I could get away going in my pjs !

Decorator is finally making an appearance this week. I have a set amount to spend so see what he can do with my allowance. Everything will be magnolia and white , it's a rented property but I like to see it fresh and clean. The hall and stairs hadn't been done for ages so this is where the money is going. Hopefully I will be back at work when he is doing it.

Still feel ropey but just need to keep going. Took Hidden's advice and got paint from B&M for the decorator. He did a couple of other jobs this week. Main painting starting next Monday.

PA been very good for me the past couple of days have around £18 to come will make it up to £20.

Ten days to payday and everything seems ok and all pots behaving ! Shopping today £15.12 after last weeks mammoth overspend. Petrol full up , I have used more but that was travelling away .

PPI progressing on one only at the moment. Have another 3 in , one has brought a no ppi . If you don't ask you don't know.

Not much planned this week , back to the gym if I feel ok tomorrow. Friend coming in the week.
