Oh great. I ordered two photobooks from Jessops online just two days ago at a total cost of £62.10. I wonder what my chances of receiving those are?0

It could be a white-label product (ie, supplied by a third party under the Jessops banner), so may be ok - and may still arrive anyway if production had begun - you can't flog a photobook to someone else afterall!
Awful time for the staff though - not what you want when the Christmas bills are about to hit the mat!0 -
They have just gone into administration with pwc0

Oh dear, poor Jessops and a real shame for their staff.Thinking critically since 1996....0

Yep confirmed they HAVE GONE.
That is your whack.Be happy...;)0 -
Also on a news page they have suspended gift vouchers
And they will not accept returned goods0 -
Firstly, I feel incredibly sorry for Jessops. I've bought numerous items from them in the past. A sad time if the firm is unrecoverable.
Moving onto gift vouchers. Yet again, this is another solid reason in my humble opinion, not to bother buying gift vouchers. It often appears that the first thing to always get dropped and become invalid are the vouchers judging by recent events with other Company closures.0 -
No more 5p's for checking in at Jessops on Quidco without actually going anywhere near the store0

The staff in my local store were very helpful when I bought my SLR last year, although a bit pushy on trying to flog me a package over £1,000 when I told them my budget was half that, they were still a great help. Pity but sadly I think it maybe the first of a few high street retailers this year who begin to struggle!Millionaire in Training
