Hi, i am looking to purchase a cheap tv for my bedroom, and have stumbled across a company called mansiontv, who are selling a 23" led full hd tv for £109, i realise for the money it wnt be the best thing in the world but as i say it is just for the bedroom and for the money i cant see me getting better, i was just wondering if anybody had heard of this company, and if so what are they like?, any help gratefully appreciated TIA
Take every day as it comes!!

I've no experience of them, but I would be very, very wary. The website was only registered around 12 weeks ago, and the supposed group "Mansion Worldwide" is a completely unknown quantity (i.e. if you Google for it you don't find anything meaningful).
I know every company has to start somewhere, but I personally wouldn't risk it.0 -
Hmmm, a company that isn't well known? Look at their stock levels, currently almost everything is out of stock....look at their reviews (some bizaare), look at what they're selling (looks like unknown Chinese stuff rebadged)
I think the answer is fairly straighforward here
Their holding company number 07183712 http://www.mansiontv.co.uk/aboutus.asp
shows as: http://wck2.companieshouse.gov.uk/0eeb54fc4d0078db46cd432bc5883e11/compdetails something quite different?!?
As said above, recently set up site and no contact details on the website link

How bizarre also, on the whois link you provided it has the registrants address listed in liverpool, but on the mansion website it has the company in belmont, county durham, it is a bit bizarre, will keep away i thinkTake every day as it comes!!0 -

i suppose in some way this is a good thing though, as it is not very often that people leave good reviews, but if the same people had been conned or recieved a pile of rubbish, you could bet your bottom dollar just by typing in mansion tv into google there would be loads of pages of people telling their storyTake every day as it comes!!0 -
Well I just ordered form these guys. Then received email telling me to call them. I could have sworn the guy made a funny beeping sound with his voice as if he was pretending to transfer me. Then a lady told me the tv was out of stock and they won't be getting more until friday, and delivery will be the following week, not next day as on the web site. I had read this forum before I called so alarm bells rang when she asked me for the security code for my card! Which I refused.
What baffles me, is when I entered my card details to purchase the item, that box was missing. Do they have to call every customer to get their security code for the order? I understand small firms may work some how in this way, but why don't they ask for it on the online checkout? When I called my bank to make sure it hadn't gone out, they told me to never give your security code over the phone! Anyway the money hadn't been taken out, granted she told me that. But still doesn't fill me with a sense of security. After all if they are a fake company they could have charged me any amount! And to anyone else and closed down in a few weeks making untold amounts of fraudulent money. Or am I just being paranoid0 -
But I would love to know I am totally wrong!!!!!0

I think you already know the answer - avoid like the plague!0

To be fair, I've had legitimate companies asking for my 3 digit number that's on the back of credit cards but I still wouldn't deal with this company based on the fact that they never have much stock (if any) and the company registration details are wrong. How many alarm bells and red flags does it take before people wake up and smell the coffee??!?!?!
If it's still not clear enough:
