Advice on a Parking Eye Parking Charge Notice
I have received a Parking Charge Notice from Parking Eye, it says it has photographic evidence of me parking in B and Q car park, it even gives times down to the very second!!
I know I parked there but never saw any signs to say that the maximum time I could park there was 2 hours.
They would like me to pay £50.00 before Friday 17th Feb or it will go up to £80.
Any advice would be most gratefully received!!

Read all of these similar threads (you just needed to search for Parking Eye on the forums):
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/...rchid=75991655
Then read the sticky ('please read before posting'!) which tells you about these fake PCNs:
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/...html?t=1363571
Then see the Parking Eye letter-chain that you will receive, illustrated here:
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/...71&postcount=1
Then just sit back and ignore the scammers. It doesn't matter even if they had the clearest high-def photo ever of your car and a timer calibrated to Greenwich Mean Time! It's not evidence of anything you need to worry about.
You have not committed any offence and nothing will happen except the registered keeper will be sent the letters shown on the last link. Ignore the lot and they will just stop & give up, they are seeking victims who will be scared and pay.
Don't be a victim of a private parking company scam!
Ticket in a private car park?... DON'T PAY IT! ''These supposed fines are the new Wild West - cowboys at supermarkets or housing estates - they're often unenforceable...they have no power to fine.'' (Martin Lewis).

I like the sentiment but its probably easier and eventually quicker to just ignore them. As its only a begging letter that should be easy.
You will get 4-6 more threatening letters/solicitors letters and debt collectors missives. All safely ignored.
How do Anti Road protesters get to where they want to protest?

Parking Eye are a bunch of numpties, even by PPC standards. They are very easy to ignore, I have been doing it for years. Expect another letter from them followed by a couple from an outfit called CCS then they will crawl back into their pond.

I agree, ignore. I had a ticket from them, then one letter from CCS. And that was that. They were rubbish, as scammers go.

We are also ignoring the scam mail from PE.
They will have a long wait before they get a single penny from our account.
Even I can't beat my misses to it, so they have diddly squat of a chance.
ORIGINAL MORTGAGE AMOUNT £106,454.00 (Start Sept 2007)
APR 2013 O/S AMOUNT £56,628.67 DEBT REDUCED BY £49,825.33 By Std Regular, Over-Payments & Off-Setting.
Bank of England + 0.19% Tracker Mortgage (IF OFFSET REPAYMENT) Discounted (Sept 2007-2010) then increased to Bank of England + 0.62% for remainder of mortgage term (2027)

What happened?
Just wanted to check what was the final outcome/conclusion. Did the ignoring of letters worked and ParkingEye stopped sending further notices? I've also just received a notice from PEye & was wondering if I should also follow the suite.

I am 100% certain that nothing came of the threats from Parking Eye. They won't go near court because they know they won't win. Just keep ignoring!

They've stopped stopped writing to the wife for her parking in August - It's not funny I'm going to have to find other bits of paper to help get the fire started
Private Parking Tickets is my way of telling the wife to use her car and not mine

I saw Parkingspy off once for a friend who was considering paying.
They never got back to her I think it may have been the email signature.

I dare not say on an open forum relating to me.
However I was hoping they would read it as Queens Council. "Queens Counsel" even.
