    Mine came today.

Balance clears on the 1st November. Will cancel shortly after.

Got my new cards at last today, and my remaining pints balance.

Assuming someone else comes along with an Amazon reward card I won't be unhappy to see the back of this card, the unpredictability of when statements were generated always got on my nerves...

Got mine today and cut them up straight away since I've already closed my account.
I was also in a negative points balance due to a large refund. Heard nothing about it!

Ended up 'doing a live chat' with MBNA last night regarding the voucher.

They passed me on to the Marketing team, who rang this afternoon.

I was given the voucher number over the phone as they were unable to send the email again.

An hour later, the voucher email arrived.

I got a letter today advertising a balance/money transfer deal for the next 12 months. The interesting part is at the top where it says:
As part of our ongoing service to your MBNA Rewards credit card...
As far as I was aware I was on a standard and not rewards card. Anyone else get a letter like this (or am I the last one to close my account)?

Edit: Checked the online account and it says at the top "MBNA Standard Mastercard". I'm more inclined to believe this than the letter but can someone who got the rewards card confirm what theirs says. It all doesn't exactly fill me with confidence about this company!

Do you receive a pin number in the post for the new MBNA card or do you have to access it online. I received the card a while back but no pin. I have just activated the card but I will be closing after final payment taken. I don't like things going missing.

It still uses the "old" Amazon pin number so they won't send a new one unless you request it.

Natwest Cashback Plus Credit Card may be an option for some

1% on all supermarket shopping (excluding petrol forecourts)
1% extra if you use contactless (until 31st March 2015)
1% on shopping at Cashback Plus retailers
0.5% on other purchases at home and abroad
    £24/yr fee (I believe)
