    Evening all.

I used up a turkey breast from the freezer, this has lasted 3 meals as the pack says, but im doing a stir fry with the remainder tonight, ive also taken out the whoopsied lamb joint for dinner tomorrow, I put 4 big gammon slices on whoopsied 2 for 49p down from 4.50 and I picked up some whoopsied potatoes as well this afternoon from waitrose. Also got the magazine, so will have a read of that too.

    Hope your all well.

Older shame about your casserole, but you will get there eventually, slow cookers are just so easy to use.

MNR - only just realised I hadn't read last month's W mag, been trying to sort out piles of recipes I've saved and file them..

Not been cooking much here - been back into Wholefoods who have a whole new set of salads on the cold food bar.. loving the new Mexican ones, I need to recreate some of these.. and got more sourdough and nut butter too. Had a bit of a spend with vouchers in Waitrose too and my weekly veg box delivery.

Not used anything out the freezer in a while :o Though I've not got too much in there, really need to crack on and make the burritos this week to use up some of the frozen veg.

In to freezer - HM SC pastry + HM Quiche.
Out of freezer - Chicken Kiev + Bag of flour + Sausage/cheese roll.
Made HM shortcrust pastry - enough for 2 quiches + some LO - FF.
We had HM Goats Cheese/Tomato Quiche + roast potatoes + roasted red/white onions + peppers + tomatoes + garlic for dinner. The dark colour of the quiche filling is the paprika I added.

    Evening all,

Been eating the eggs and salad for a few days now and was planning on having lamb shank, jersey potatoes and veggies tonight as a change, but can't be bothered to cook it so will save it for tomorrow instead.

So, dinner tonight will be exactly the same as lunch: egg mayo roll with some salad. Good thing I've got a lot of eggs to use up!

Kirri, made a trip to local deli yesterday and they sell Vivani choc so bought a bar of the praline one. Wow, it's lovely so the little bit that's left will be dessert tonight :D

MrsF, I'm going to need some lessons from you in pastry making, yours looks great and I'm envious of your quiches. There are few things more delicious than a cheese and vegetable quiche.

Ms NR hope you're OK and still finding ys bargains? I'm off to the supermarkets tomorrow in hope of a bargain.

Hope everyone else is OK and enjoying the lovely weather

You did well not to eat the whole bar in one go!
I can't wait to buy some more when I next go near a shop that sells it.. I'll have to check if Wholefoods sell it as I don't get near Planet Org very often, don't know where else to get it.

I've got no org choc here at the moment - bought a Respect organic carrot cake from Sainsbury's last week though that's keeping me going..

Not much cooking going on here, bought more houmous, pitta and salad from M&S for lunches and had a Higgidy pie & salad for dinner. Have got some vegan pesto & veg in the fridge for the rest of the week, unless I make the tortillas and do burritos.
